Thank you to our 66 guests who spent the afternoon with us. And thank you to all those from the church who helped making our guests feel welcome. We had a family from within our neighbourhood, who decided to stop in on their walk. And Mary spent the afternoon learning Mexican Train Dominoes with a couple from Byron.
The turnout to our event was a pleasant surprise; we thought we would be lucky to have 10 people out due to the many other community events. The last time we hosted this event, there was only a handful events offered on Family Day now we are aware of over 10 major events being offered.
We are looking forward to our next family day community event in 2024.
